SURREY - Whalley Little League's Junior Division (13-14) squad is heading to the Canadian Junior Little League Championships in Lethbridge, AB after beating Langley 18-7 to earn the title of Team B.C. The championships start Aug. 5, with finals on Aug. 13. The World Series will be held in Taylor, Michigan on Aug. 14.
Meanwhile, Whalley's intermediate team is off for nationals in St. John, NB this weekend.Whalley's senior team (15-16) started nationals in Coquitlam this week. This is the fourth straight year the team has represented B.C.
