Students at Delview Adult Learning Centre recently thanked a dedicated volunteer her for 20 years of volunteering with the centre: Marilyn Merry.
Merry's patience, kindness and encouragement were great gifts. She has volunteered at Delview for two decades and has helped hundreds of adults improve their English language skills. When thanked by the students, she insisted that all her experiences at Delview have been amazing and personally rewarding.
Delview Adult Learning Centre houses three different programs; English Language Services for Adults (ELSA), Literacy Foundations (basic skill building in English, Math, and Technology), and High School Completion (Grade 12 graduation).
