Students joined the Lower Mainland Green Team for the park cleanup as part of Youth Earth Week.
The Green Team helps Metro Vancouver Parks, municipalities, BC Parks, charities, non-profit organizations, societies, stewardship and watershed groups tackle environmental issues that need co-operation and teamwork to get done.
Often, that includes park cleanups and removal of invasive plants.
Volunteers are always welcome.
