SURREY - The integrated Homicide investigation Team has taken conduct of what appears to have been a domesticrelated homicide in newton.
Police were called to a home in the 6900-block of 152nd Street in newton just after 1 p.m. Sunday (nov. 23).
Surrey rCmP found a woman dead inside the home and suspected foul play. Soon after, iHiT was called in.
The victim's husband was arrested at the scene and is in police custody, but has not yet been charged. Police weren't releasing the man's identity monday morning but said both the suspect and the victim are in their 60s.
reports say witnesses saw a girl run outside yelling for help, claiming her grandmother had been killed.
