SURREY - Retired Surrey Fire Department assistant chief Bill McNamara has been inducted into the World Police and Fire Games Hall of Fame for his 30 years of competition in the track and field events.
McNamara attended the first WPFG's in San Jose, California (1985) and has competed and medalled in every games since. The biennial games are held globally with this year's games in Fairfax County, VA.McNamara's total medal count in the 16 WPFG's is 51.
