Starting this month, and continuing to December, the Delta Community Animal Shelter is offering free training classes to Delta dog owners.
A 2015 dog licence can get owners into the classes, which feature topics such as nose work, dog park safety tips, preventing and correcting dog behaviours and more.
In addition, there are free classes educating about dog bite safety and emergency preparedness for pet owners to anyone in Delta.

Upcoming classes in January include Be a Tree Dog Bite Prevention Program on Jan. 24 and Dog Park Safety on Jan. 26.
Classes take place at 7505 Hopcott Road in Tilbury Industrial Park.
