Shots fired twice Tuesday

SURREY - Shots were fired in Whalley roughly the same time a man arrived at hospital with stab wounds Tuesday (April 28) at around 3 a.m. Residents called 911, reporting shots being fired, people arguing and cars being driven erratically in the area of 94th Avenue and 124th Street.

 

It's was the 24th shooting in the Surrey-North Delta area since the beginning of March.

 

Later Tuesday, the 25th shooting happened at approximately 10:25 p.m., when Surrey RCMP received several 911 calls reporting several gun shots being heard in the area of 88th Avenue at 134B Street.

 

Police said checks of the surrounding residences and vehicles along and near the roadway failed to locate anything that had been hit by a bullet.
