Holme underwent Stage 2 breast cancer surgery five weeks ago. The event was a fundraiser for the BC Childhood Cancer Parent’s Association and the Canadian Cancer Society, and was dedicated to the memory of the late Megan MacNeil.
Organizers say about 150 people took part in the event – fewer than the 200 wanted, but more than the 111 who came out in 2014.
The event may return next year.
