Local families celebrated Groundhog Day in the Newton Save-on-Foods underground parking lot with free pancakes and hot chocolate, games, face painting and more.
The event, which took place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, is a way to create a more vibrant community within the Newton Town Centre, according to the Newton Business Improvement Association.
