WHITE ROCK - With tax season in full swing and municipalities preparing their budgets for the coming year, the comment period for the 2015 White Rock budget is open.
Each year, residents can comment on the draft budget, which is typically released in the spring. The White Rock draft budget, which is always set out as a five-year financial plan, is available for viewing online at Whiterockcity.ca.Those who wish to comment can do so directly to the city's Finance and Audit Committee on Monday, March 23 at 5 p.m. at city hall, following a staff presentation. Written comments will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. that day.Comments can be submitted via email to the city clerk at clerksoffice@whiterockcity.ca.
