Anne Glover's 'String Stories' in bilingual show at North Delta school (WITH VIDEO)

NORTH DELTA — "String Stories" by Anne Glover will be told during an afternoon show at Richardson Elementary next Sunday, Jan. 19.

The Victoria-based performer will present a bilingual program aimed at the whole family.

"Whether or not you understand French, you will find characters in (my) stories that make you laugh," Glover told the Now.

Audiences have been mesmerized by the uncanny string figures made by Glover to illustrate her stories.

Her show includes English, French and sign language, with stories, string figures and songs.

Several days later, in Ladner, Glover will perform her show at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 at Genesis Theatre, located at Delta Secondary.
