Author pens poetry book

11th work published by Surrey writer Greg Bauder.

Surrey author Greg Bauder has a new book of poetry out.

A Poet’s Purging is Bauder’s 11th book and deals with his struggle with schizoaffective disorder. The poems, he says, affirm that the intellectual and emotional state of the mind is most keenly felt through the power of poetry.

The poems range from melancholy, mania, paranoia and tributes to great writers. Bauder says the collection is a “kind of baptism or purging away of pent up frustration due to mental illness.”

The book of poetry follows several other novels, including The Temptress Ariel and Spilt Coffee, which are both in development by Blueberry Street Films to become movies.
