Food Truck Festival in Cloverdale aims to attract 10,000 eaters

Close to 10,000 people are expected at a Fraser Valley Food Truck Festival event in Cloverdale this weekend.

Twenty-six food vendors will be at Cloverdale Fairgrounds on Saturday (April 9) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.

Laine Ogilvie’s Memory Laine Events company is staging seven similar events at sites around the Fraser Valley this spring.

The event will also feature an artisan market and live music.

“We have site-wide liquor license so you can cruise around with your alcoholic beverage and order from the food trucks,” Ogilvie told the Now.

Vendors at the event in Cloverdale are Lenny’s Lemonade, Cheese Street Grill, Slavic Rolls, Pub Grub, Big Red’s Poutine, The Bannock Wagon, Rocky Point Ice Cream, Cannoli King, Reel Mac & Cheese, Mollies Mini Donuts, Taters the Baked Potato Co., Wilkyz Grill, Poomba’s Smokehouse, Los Tacos Hermanos, The Reef Runner Jamaican Cuisine, Disco Cheetah Korean Grill, Hot Grandma’s Kitchen, Cheeses Crust, Casalinga Carts, Old Country Pierogi, Dougie Dog Hot Dogs, Cravings Kettle Corn, Super Thai, Whistler Wood Fired Pizza, Stolovaya Russian Cuisine and The New Taste Wraps.
