NEWTON - The audience experiences a struggling theatre company's botched play rehearsal in The Servant of Two Masters, brought here this week by Shadows & Dreams Theatre Company.
This version of Italian playwright Carlo Goldini's madcap comedy, originally written in 1743, was adapted by Oded Gross and Tracy Young.Shadows & Dreams launches its eighth season by bringing the show to Newton Cultural Centre's "black box" space from May 7 to 11, in partnership with Royal Canadian Theatre Company and the Arts Council of Surrey."It's an amazing space," said Kerri Norris, who plays lady servant Smeraldina in the show.
