In Surrey starting Thursday night (May 2), Royal Canadian International Circus launches a cross-country tour that won’t end until September.
The circus company’s red-and-yellow, 2,700-seat tent has been set up again in the Guildford Town Centre parking lot for 19 shows until Mother’s Day, at the corner of 104 Avenue and 150 Street.
Another action-packed show will feature “Wheel of Destiny” daredevil Joseph Dominik Bauer, a four-motorcycle Globe of Death act, human cannonball, 25-foot unicyclist, Zeman rollerskating duo, acrobats from Taiwan, Bollywood aerialists, high-wire stunts, comedy, dance and more.
“This year’s circus really takes things to the next level, it really does. There’s so much action,” Bauer said in a phone call.
