Step 1 to be a Vancouverite? Pronounce it 'Vangcouver'.

Say what you will about the stereotypical Vancouverite – the skinny jeans or the Lululemons (we call them Lulus, by the way), the pricey gas and the pricier lots of land, and our love/hate relationship with the Canucks – but the city does make a darn fine YouTube setting.

Comedy group IFHT has struck that viral cord every online videographer hopes for with its newest video, the three-minute comical step-by-step guide titled "How To Be A Vancouverite".

The video has racked up over 109,000 views since yesterday and was picked up by nearly every local news outlet, including us (now).

There are 29 steps in all, so stick around for all of them, but one YouTube commenter, Dustin Lyne, has an idea for No. 30:

"Step #30: Diss living in Surrey... Nobody one's to live there... Diss it even if you live in Surrey"
