The Surrey Sikh community collected donations of clothing and personal hygiene products that filled five trucks on May 14 for victims of the fires in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
The donations were dropped off at Tamanawis Secondary School, and were shipped the following day. More than 200 volunteers were involved with the project, say organizers.
The donations follow three trucks filled with donations from the community that left Surrey the previous week.
