Surrey student wins laptop

Online contest part of an interactive resource that teaches students money management.

Surrey's Akshita Kaur is one of three Canadian students to win a laptop computer in The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada's (FCAC) The City, an online interactive resource that teaches students money management.

The students completed four modules of The City, as well as a follow-up quiz.

The City was developed by FCAC and the British Columbia Securities Commission to help educators teach young people the fundamentals of managing personal finances.
