Are big food companies friends or foes in the fight against obesity?
How and why the fast food industry should change are questions that Simon Fraser University professor Diane Finegood brings to the table at Surrey’s next Café Scientifique on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Central City Brew Pub.
Joining Finegood, an internationally known expert on obesity and diabetes, will be Mark Von Schellwitz, vice-president Western Canada, Canadian Restaurant and Food Services Association.
The general public is invited to attend this free event and participate in the discussion.
