UPDATE: Missing North Delta sisters found safe

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating two missing North Delta youths.

The sisters left their North Delta home together at 3 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6. Police say that while the girls were initially in contact with friends, they have not been in contact with family and their location is not known.

The older sister is described as five feet tall, weighing approximately 100 pounds, and with long brown hair. When she left her home she was wearing a white puffer jacket and pajama pants.

The younger sister is also described as five feet tall, weighing approximately 100 pounds, and with long brown hair. When she left her home she was wearing a black jacket vest and pajama pants.

Police say both of them are known to utilize public transit.

Officers are trying to locate the sisters to ensure their well-being. Anyone who may know where the sisters are is asked to contact the Delta Police Department at 604-946-4411 or call their local police of jurisdiction.
