Witnesses sought to late-night fire in Ladner

Delta police are investigating a late-night fire that destroyed a vacant building in the 4900-block of Chisholm Street in Ladner on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

Delta police are investigating a late night fire that destroyed a vacant building in Ladner on Saturday, June 8.

The fire in the 4900-block of Chisholm Street was reported shortly before midnight, according to a DPD press release, and did not result in any injuries.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire.

Police are looking to speak with any witnesses who may have been in the area prior to the fire or anyone who observed suspicious activity in the vicinity of the burned building.

Additionally, police are asking anyone with video footage from security cameras, dash cams or mobile devices shot between 10:30 p.m. and midnight on June 8 near the 4900-block of Chisholm Street to share their video with the DPD's investigative team.
