“Our mission is to provide a versatile and technologically equipped space that supports everything from workshops and large conferences to intimate board meetings and lively social events,” says Anne Barbosa, Marketing and Event Coordinator at Annacis Research and Event Centre.

The Centre’s architecture features high, vaulted ceilings and expansive windows, creating a bright and open atmosphere suitable for any event. With a capacity to host up to 175 guests, the layout of each room can be tailored from banquet style with round tables to a theatre setup, ensuring space efficiency and adaptability.

“The flexibility of our spaces really allows organizers to craft an environment that best suits their event’s purpose,” Barbosa explains. The venue accommodates a variety of events, from safety training sessions for construction companies to corporate retreats and networking events.

Key spaces within the venue include:

  • The Atrium: Ideal for large gatherings, with tall windows and high wood-beamed ceilings that enhance the luxurious feel.
  • Conference room and multimedia studio: Equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual technology, offering screens of 10 or 30 feet for presentations and hybrid meetings.The Conference Room and Atrium can also be combined to create one large gathering space.
  • The training room: Setup like a classroom with a projector and wall of whiteboards.
  • The boardroom: Features cloud-based technology, perfect for focused group discussions.

The facility has wide hallways, no-step entry access, and ample parking with dedicated accessible spaces. “Our LEED Platinum building is designed to be as open and accessible as possible,” Barbosa notes.

The Centre operates beyond standard weekday business hours, accommodating events during evenings and weekends to suit the diverse schedules of different organizations and groups.

Located centrally on Annacis Island in Delta, and easily accessible from Richmond, Vancouver, Surrey, and Langley, the Centre offers convenience to anyone in the Metro Vancouver area. With free parking for up to 130 vehicles, it adds another layer of convenience for event attendees.
