Cops investigate bear spray incident at Surrey McDonald's

SURREY - Diners and staff at a McDonald's restaurant on Scott Road in Newton were exposed to a second-hand dose of bear spray on Sunday evening.

Police are looking for three men who were in the parking lot outside the McDonald's at 8586-120th St., at about 6 p.m.

A man nailed with bear spray, apparently by two other men, entered the restaurant seeking help and some of the eye-stinging contaminant wafted in with him

Multiple people were exposed, police said.

But the victim didn't stick around for long and police have yet to find him and the other two men.
