DELTA — Police are looking to the public for help in identifying two men believed to be responsible in two unrelated sex crimes that took place several months ago.
The first incident took place in the 7600-block of Scott Road in North Delta at around 8:30 p.m. on July 27. A transit video shows a suspect boarding a bus that the victim of a sexual assault was on prior to the offence taking plaace.
Police have released the photo in the hope somebody will recognize the man so that police can speak with him.
The second photo was taken on May 6 just after 6 a.m. on a bus at the Harvest Drive Ladner Bus Exchange. A male boarded the 604 bus at the Scott Road SkyTrain station destined for the Ladner Exchange, but en route committed an indecent act.
The suspect got off the bus in Ladner and was last seen walking east through the Park and Ride lot. He was seen again by the victim about a week or two later but did not board her bus. The male again walked through the Park and Ride lot before disappearing.
He was wearing the same zip-up black sweatshirt and was carrying a black backpack.
The suspect is described as a white male, standing six feet tall, between 30 and 35 years of age, wearing a yellow polo shirt with orange tiger stripes, black sweat pants, a black sweatshirt with front zipper (no hood), and carrying a white liquor store bag. He has dark blonde shaved hair.
