Surrey firefighters battled an early morning blaze at a Subway restaurant in the 10700 block of King George Blvd.
According to witnesses, the fire was contained to an ice cooler and pop machine.
The restaurant was closed at the time and despite extensive damage to the building, there were no reports of any injuries.
