IHIT investigating suspicious death in Whalley

SURREY — Homicide investigators are looking for tips after a woman died in what is believed to have been a “domestic related incident” at Whalley on Sunday morning.

Police are calling the woman’s death suspicious. It happened inside a house near 140th Street and 94th Avenue.

“Police were called to the home just before noon where they found two people injured,” said Sgt. Stephanie Ashton, spokeswoman for the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team. “A woman has now succumbed to her injuries in what appears to be suspicious circumstances.”
