WHALLEY — A 25-year-old man was stabbed in Whalley Thursday night.

Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing in the 13300-block of Old Yale Road shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday.

Police say they found a man who has been stabbed in the back. He was taken to hospital in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the stabbing stemmed from an argument and that the people involved knew one another.
