Metro Vancouver motorists should drive safely and not over-drive their vision with fog hanging around the next few days.
Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for Metro Vancouver, including Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Surrey, Langley and Richmond and Delta.
“Near-zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring,” Environment Canada said Thursday.
It added that a strong ridge of high pressure will stay over B.C. through this week. Moisture trapped under a temperature inversion will result in extensive areas of dense fog. “The fog will become more patchy during the afternoons particularly away from the water.”
Holy #Fog #Vancouver! 😲 Wow! Just a friendly reminder to:
• Turn on your headlights & make sure that your taillights are turned on as well so that other drivers can see you,
• #SlowDown for the road & visibility conditions!
