Car leaves road into Delta ditch

One dead in Delta MVA

A car left the road near 9600 Highway 10 and went into a ditch.

One person is dead after an accident in Delta this week.

On Tuesday (April 6) at 9:35 a.m., Delta police responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision in the 9600-block of Highway 10.

Police arrived to find that a vehicle was traveling west on Highway 10, when it went off the road into a ditch.

One of the occupants was fatally injured, while the other was taken to hospital by air ambulance.

It was expected the roads in the area would be closed for several hours.
