One person is dead after an early-morning motorhome fire in South Surrey.

SURREY — One person is dead after a motorhome went up in flames early this morning.

The fire happened at the  800 block of 160th Street at about 7:30 a.m. Surrey RCMP say neighbours called 911 after seeing smoke and were unable to get inside to help.

Police say the person was found dead after Surrey firefighters put out the fire.

The victim's identity has not yet been confirmed.

Foul play is not suspected.
