VANCOUVER - Vancouver police are looking for witnesses to an early-morning assault near the UBC campus.

They say a 30-year-old woman was grabbed and thrown to the ground while jogging near Pacific Spirit Park at around 6 a.m. Thursday.

No arrests have been made.

Police say it's too early to say whether the attack could be linked to others on or near the campus over the last two years.

A week ago, a woman was grabbed by the neck at the university's Totem residence and dragged by a man who has since been arrested.

Police say that attack was not connected to the other assaults. (News1130)
