Ralston named house leader for NDP

SURREY - Surrey-Whalley MLA Bruce Ralston has been named house leader for the New Democrats.

"A greatly respected member of our caucus, Bruce has agreed to take on this new role, replacing John Horgan as he pursues his candidacy in the leadership race," said NDP leader Adrian Dix.

Ralston is the party's critic for international trade, immigration and multiculturalism.
