Ron Meadley is Surrey's "Good Citizen of the Year" for 2014.
"Ron Meadley has passionately advocated for the conservation and enhancement of Surrey's natural areas for many years," said Mayor Dianne Watts. The award was announced at the city's annual volunteer services celebration on Tuesday.
