Surrey police trying to ID Newton restaurant robbery suspect

The Surrey RCMP's Robbery Unit, at 604-599-0502, is looking for information that could identify him.

SURREY — Surrey Mounties are looking for a man who robbed a restaurant in Newton on September 15.

This was in the 15100-block of 72nd Avenue. Police said this "light-skinned" robber threatened staff but nobody was physically injured.

Police said the "alleged suspect" was wearing blue jeans and a blueish-grey coat with a hood. He ran from the scene.

The Surrey RCMP's Robbery Unit, at 604-599-0502, is looking for information that could identify him.
