Surrey RCMP investigates city's 29th shooting since beginning of March

SURREY — Surrey Mounties are investigating the city’s 29th shooting since the beginning of March after receiving a report of a shot fired on Saturday night.

This was in the 3000-block of Croyden Drive in South Surrey, at about 11 p.m.

Police received a complaint about some men trying to force their way inside a home in that area. No injuries have been reported.

Police found a bullet casing in the area, but have yet to identify any suspects. The two men occupying the house told police they have no idea why anyone would try to force their way into their home.
