SURREY — Surrey's icy roads have the dial-a-claims line running hot.

The Insurance Corporation of B.C.'s claims line is getting snowed under with calls.

That dedicated line received 101,578 calls this past December compared to 87,900 in December 2015.

"Drive for conditions," says Sam Corea, a spokesman for ICBC.

"Take it slow. It's time for caution for everyone when you see conditions like this."

In December 2015 the dial-a-claim line received 65,321 calls within the Lower Mainland, compared to 73,515 during this past December.
