Delview Secondary in Delta was the scene of a student fight and stabbing May 21.

A 15-year-old girl was stabbed in the arm during a fight with another girl outside Delview Secondary Wednesday (May 21) afternoon.

Delta Police say they were called at about 2:20 p.m. to a report that two 15-year-olds were fighting on the school grounds of the North Delta school.

A suspect has been arrested and is in police custody, while the victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they are satisfied there is no further risk to students at the school, located at 9111 116 St. Parents of the students involved were also notified.

The investigation continues.
