SURREY — Transit Police need help to identify a woman who committed suicide at the Surrey Central SkyTrain station last week.

The woman leapt in front of a SkyTrain and was pronounced dead at the scene, at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23rd.

She was white, about 70 years old, had a heavy build and short grey hair and was wearing a beige jacket, dark pants and white running shoes.

“All efforts to identify her have proved negative,” police spokeswoman Anne Drennan said. "She had absolutely nothing on her to identify her."

Nor does her description match that of any missing person reports.

Police ask anyone who might know who she was to call Transit Police at 604-515-8300.
