SURREY — Trees have been cleared from the site of a future ice arena in Cloverdale.

The new Cloverdale Sport and Ice Complex will include two sheets of ice, or floors, with a possible one- to two-sheet future addition, at 17770 64th Ave., just east of Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre.

Construction is scheduled to begin this August, with completion in the spring of 2019. The facility is estimated to cost $35 million.

Below is a video of the site captured Wednesday afternoon, along with a site map.
