C.D. Major, (retired)

Passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital on March 12, 2010 with his family by his bedside after a prolonged illness. He was born in Toronto, and lived in Ontario, Alberta, Trinidad, Vancouver, Surrey, Mexico and China. He was a graduate of WLU with a degree in Business and Economics. He was a military pilot (RCAF) and had a long association with the Air Cadet League of Canada including the Gliding Program. He is survived by loving wife Mary and only son Reid and family, his wife Karri and was Grampy to his 2 grandchildren, Danielle and Kelli. A Celebration of his life will be held at the Canadian Legion, Whalley Branch 229, of which he was a member, on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 1300 hours. Many thanks to the staff in the ER at Surrey Memorial Hospital for their compassion and care.
