PARSONS, George Arthur
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Arthur Parsons on March 29, 2016. He leaves to mourn his wife Pam; daughter Suzanne and grandchildren Colin & Kianna; sisters Gladys Scofield (Norman) and Daisy Harris; sister-in-law Maureen Loren (Don); and many nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his youngest daughter Sharon in July 2014. Born in Tottenham, England on May 16, 1935, George first worked for British Rail before beginning his career as an auto-mechanic. In December 1963 he immigrated to Canada with his wife & eldest daughter and continued to work as a mechanic for the next 17 years, until an accident forced him into early retirement. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 23 at 1 PM at First Memorial Fraser Heights Chapel, 14835 Fraser Highway, Surrey, BC, followed by a reception gathering for family and friends.
