Jo-Anne passed away on March 13, 2024, in Surrey, BC at age 81. Born in Vancouver on September 30, 1942, Jo-Anne enjoyed the simple things in life. Mom loved animals; music; finding deals at garage sales and auctions; sharing meals with loved ones; and the occasional visit to a casino or bingo. She was a devoted mother who always prioritized her children. In her career she was a dedicated caregiver, working as a nurse and a daycare provider. She was a devoted friend in a small, tight-knit group that remained connected throughout her life. From that group, she found her partner Peter, with whom she treasured the last 22 years.
Jo-Anne is survived by her husband Peter, children Paul (Tracy), Pam (Gord), and Patrick, sister Judy (Larry), brother Tom, grandchildren Chelsea, Brenton, Tierra, Lauren, and David, as well as five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Harvey Paul, mother Bunny, sister Jill, and son Peter.
