HARRIS, Karen (nee Wright)

Karen Harris, passed away at the age of 61 years. Karen will forever be remembered by her husband of 41 years and best friend, Marvin, and their children, Philip (Marisa), Rebecca, Andrew (Jenn) and Matt (Amber), her 5 grandchildren (Robert, Joshua, Charlie, Julia and Laura), her sister, Nadine (Sherwood) Johnson, nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Karen provided a wonderful home for her family, and she delighted in entertaining family and friends. People she met were immediately included in her circle of friends. Karen came bearing gifts. From her kind and generous spirit Karen offered just that something special to brighten our days. Walking along Crescent Beach with Marvin, camping trips with the family, traveling, and capturing these moments with her Canon were activities that filled her life with joy. Karen's generosity, wisdom, laughter & baking the best lemon pies ever will always be part of our memories.
Karen loved children, and for many years she was involved in children's activities in her church and operated her home-based daycare. Her life was full, and our lives remain richer because she cared for us.
A Celebration of Karen's Life will be held on Saturday, October 25th, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Royal Heights Baptist Church, 11706 96th Avenue, Delta.
