MITCHELL Leona "Lee" Elizabeth. Sept 18, 1927 ~ Oct 15, 2012. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leona "Lee" Elizabeth Mitchell. She was born on September 18, 1927 in her grandmothers house in Burnaby, BC and passed away, October 15, 2012 in Surrey, BC. Lee is survived by her loving husband Charlie of 59 years; children Bonnie (Ted) Emanuels, Cindy (Mario) Cunha, Brad (Michelle) Mitchell, grandchildren Marie, Tim (Cheryl), Clayton (Laura), Shelby and Chelsea, great-grandchildren Teagan and Bria. Lee devoted her life to her family, she loved flowers and the outdoors. A Memorial Tea will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Fraser Heights Funeral Home, 14835 Fraser Highway, Surrey, BC.
