Surrey - The Editor, Re: "Is such opulence really necessary for a city hall?" the Now letters, March 4. I whole-heartedly agree with Andrew Johnston's letter about the ridiculous amount of money spent on a new city hall.
I would like to know where the money was spent. Why $97 million? Why not $87 million, or $107 million? I think we taxpayers are owed an item-by-item accounting of the money supposedly spent in our name.Jim ArmstrongSurrey
