Crack the whip on the suites problem

I have become so frustrated with these people using up all the parking.

Re: “Suites fuel the parking mess in East Clayton,” Letters, The Leader, Sept. 10.

I totally agree with this letter. I have sent numerous emails to the City of Surrey. I live on 192 Street and 69 Avenue. There are homes on 192 Street from 68 to 70 Avenues – all have coach homes and basement suites that are not allowed. There are also homes at 192A Street and 69 Avenue with coach homes and basement suites.

I have become so frustrated with these people using up all the parking. We all see this. We see the people walking on the side of the house to go down to the suite and the people who live in the coach homes go in the back – not to mention the owners of these homes use their garage as a storage shed.

Why should I have to pay extra taxes for these inconsiderate people? These owners know you cannot have a basement suite if you have a coach home. I am tired of trying to find a spot because I cannot park in front of my own home because of irresponsible cheating homeowners.

Crack the whip and deal with this problem.
