Has B.C.’s premier got the right stuff to govern?
After watching Christy Clark’s performance after the HST referendum results were announced, I think not.
Premier Clark is all smiles during photo-ops orchestrated to make fuzzy promises about open government or when proclaiming new spending initiatives, however, when the question about an early election was asked her first instinct was to act deaf and dumb.
The picture that comes to mind is Christy Clark, wearing ego-inflated water-wings, frantically paddling around in the deep end of a swimming pool filled with red ink.
Fortunately for her and for us, Kevin Falcon, the current Deputy Premier, Minister of Finance and potential Liberal lifeguard, appears to have the experience and ability to handle his responsibilities.
