A great big bouquet of long-stemmed red roses to the two young women who came to the aid of a rather distraught elderly lady in the Surrey Memorial Hospital ER the evening of Nov. 16 and shame on her son who, it appeared, would rather return home to watch the hockey game than remain to comfort her during the long wait for treatment.
How sad but it seems karma came through – the Canucks lost.
