Re: "Surrey may issue parking permits for jam-packed areas with suites," the Now, Feb. 18.
I am curious - what came of the permit parking that Coun. Barinder Rasode talked about in the Now two weeks ago? All I heard was a lot of talk. Where is the action? The Now's city hall reporter did not hear about it at the last transportation meeting a few weeks ago either.
Please fill us in! What is the permit parking pilot about or the garage project? If you want to test out a "permit parking pilot" or "garage project," please come to my street in East Clayton and I will happily install my own permit parking sign and paint my own lines in front of my home on my dime and get the ball rolling.
Let's stop talking about it and get it done.
