LETTER: Surrey’s budget is despicable

Reader says Safe Surrey is going to bankrupt residents

The Editor,

Re: “Surrey tax hike ‘tip of iceberg,’ Annis warns, the Now-Leader, Nov. 19.

An open letter to the Safe Surrey Coalition:

I read your Surrey City budget for 2021. I find it despicable and disgusting. You are going to bankrupt all of us in Surrey, ruining our city not to mention ruining our children‘s future to buy any property in this city, because you have a personal vendetta against our beloved Surrey RCMP.

All of you need to resign immediately. You are all an embarrassment to us, and you aren’t representing us.
